West Suffolk Trundle

Our fourth ride will be a journey of about 27 miles incorporating a pleasant ride along rural lanes and a fine meal in a popular pub.

Meet  at Nether Hall, Pakenham, grid ref 926669, courtesy of Richard and Penny Ballard, at 10.00am for 10.45 off. Please park prettily.

The full route is about 19 miles before lunch followed by a return journey of 8 miles.
As usual, there will be a number of shortcuts if the weather is inclement or you are just hungry!

The map showing the recommended route, (inspired by OS map 155), together with the shortcuts, will be distributed at Nether Hall with the refreshments.

Lunch is at the Fox and Hounds in Bradfield St George. The return journey takes us back to Nether Hall, where afternoon tea will be available.

As per VCC Trudge rides, older bicycles encouraged. Newer bicycles, tricycles, tandems or triplets also welcome. No skateboards please.

Please pre-book your meal at the pub. The landlords, Neil and Sally, are expecting us so please say you will be with the Suffolk Trundle Bicycle Ride.
